for a wee getaway we decided to pack up for the day and head to jasper for dinner.

because you can DO that from edmonton.

grrrr.

I was actually pretty excited, because as you know I L-O-V-E the mountains, and just can’t get enough of them, so any chance I can get to go for a ride through the mountains is a-ok with me.  (between you and me, secretly I think that dana thought that this would make up for her SPURNING my desire to go to jasper on my big move to vancouver, but she totally still owes me, all I got on this trip to jasper was crappy pizza and that doesn’t heal open festering wounds cut deep into your heart… ahem.)

so we hit the road…

this summers big vacation included a trip to edmonton to transport dana and ashley’s kitties to their new home in edmonton.

it all started with a pick-up of said kitties at the pet kennel, and coercing them into a kitty carrier.
