I miss my redhead.

unfortunately, tashies arthritis got  worse and worse, to the point that her medication wasn’t providing her with much relief, and she was having difficulty doing even simple things like getting up off the floor or walking up and down stairs.  when it got to the point that she was falling down the back stairs in order to try to get outside, I finally made the decision that I needed to end her suffering.

my poor doggie.

so before we go any further, I wanted to post some photos in her honor, some new, some you’ve seen before but that make me smile so I’m going to repost them again.

they are more or less in chronological order, starting with the very first photo taken in pascale’s apartment the day I brought tashie home…

wanderin stanley park (vancouver, part trois).

continuing my week and a bit in vancouver, one of my main goals for the week was to spend a day wandering all the way around stanley park.  it’s such a beautiful park located right downtown, with a combination of tourist spots, hiking trails through the forest, and the active running and biking trail around the perimeter.  I decided to try to touch on a bit of them all.
