juste un autre jour.
Friday.
Hello all, hope you enjoyed the Vegas photos … I left them for a while before writing again so you’d get a good chance to check them out. They’re pretty fun. Now Belinda & I are trying to decide between Mexico and Hawaii … a rough dilemma, I know. We’re trying to get flights organized for her trip out of Canada and back to Australia in September, with a few stops sprinkled in along the way. So far we’ve managed to get her to San Fransisco, but so far we’ve stranded her there until we can decide on which hot sunny locale to hit after that.

Lots of stuff going on over the past 2 or 3 weeks, but a lot of nice relaxing good-weather time too. The weather in Vancouver this week has been FANTASTIC, sunny and warm every day, and it looks like it’s going to stay that way at least through this long weekend and out the other end. Luckily, I have today as well as Monday off, so it’s a super long weekend for me. Except for that part where I’m working at the LD on Saturday and Sunday …

It looks like I’m not on the schedule at the LD for the month of July. Seeing as the family is coming out for 2 weeks in July, I’ve booked a few weekends off, resulting in pretty much no shifts for the entire month, apart from this weekend.
I managed to break my vacuum already. Old Mr. Wood Panel Vacuum might have to be laid to rest, unless I can figure out that yucky burnt onoin smell and fix it. Yikes!
Got myself a new haircut. The last one was crappy, and I was unhappy with it from the day I got it. It was unruly, took forever to style in the morning to make it look half decent (and you all know how much I love to primp … not so much), and all I could think of when I looked in the mirror was “mmmmmmullet!” So I took the leap and got it chopped off. It doesn’t entirely suit me, but whatthehell, I’ll just let it grow out now and by next summer it’ll be good. Patience young grasshopper.
Oh, and here you go …

I’m trying to organize a housewarming, but can’t seem to get in touch with ANYONE these days. Everyone must be out enjoying the weather … how irritating. I’m willing to serve them booze and treats and yet they’re nowhere to be found. Fools.
Well, I’ve got lots to do on this splendid day off … doctors appointment, grocery shopping, repotting, housework, shop for vacuum parts, spend time chillaxing in the sun … like I said earlier … rough.
